Former Canadian Show Jumping Team horse Mill Creek Raphael died on December 27, 2015, at the age of 25.
Phil Henning of Mill Creek Stables in Cambridge, Canada owned the champion horse.Mill Creek Raphael was a Hanoverian gelding (Raphael x Gluecksstern) born in Germany in 1990.
Eric Lamaze and Mill Creek Raphael formed an unbelievable partnership, with major GP wins all over Canada.  In 2000, the combination won the Canadian Show Jumping Championship title at Spruce Meadows in Calgary and were selected for the Canadian Show Jumping Team for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

In 2002, Mill Creek Raphael took part in the World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain, where Canada placed tenth overall.

2003 saw Lamaze and Mill Creek Raphael win the Canadian Show Jumping Championship title for the second year running
