HITS-on-the-Hudson VIII * September 2-6, 2015
18 year old Mayo man Cormac Hanley placed 3rd in the Junior A/O AT HITS USA. This is the richest junior class in the world with a $250,000 prize fund.
Cormac”s horse ‘Twain’ is owned by North Run Farm (Missy & John Clarke) and Stephex Stables. This combination placed 4th and 2nd in both qualifying rounds earlier in the week. Cormac and ‘Twain’ are a very new combination as Cormac just stared riding the horse two weeks ago.
This has been a fantastic year for Cormac with placing throughout Europe and the United states and he was also a member of Ireland’s Silver Medal Winning Team at the Junior European Championships in Austria last month.
Congratulations to Cormac, North Run and the Hanley Family.
