Greg Broderick wins Galway Grand Prix


Top Irish rider Greg Broderick made waves at the Galway County show, winning the ‘Ashford Farm Grand Prix’ with a very quick time of 40.30 riding the Irish sport horse ‘MHS Automatic’. Event rider Elisibeth Power and ‘Doonaveeragh O One’ finished 2nd. Greg placed 3rd with the ‘Cruising’ sired ‘Golden Exchange’ owned by LIsa Cawley.

Mayo man Shane Goggins and John Mullin’s ‘Darco’ sired ‘UFO’ finished in 4th position. This pair won the Connaught region Grand Prix on Saturday.  Gabriel Tunney and Lavish placed 5th, followed by Alexander Butler and ‘Dekato’ in 6th position.
