Mo Chroi in foal to Diamant De Semilly via embryo transfer

The former international showumper ‘Mo Chroí’, a past winner of the Dublin grand prix — is expecting two foals by ‘Diamant De Semilly’ this season by embryo transfer.

‘Mo Chroí’ was campaigned by the Irish Army and represented Ireland on several Nations Cup teams. She was also second in two consecutive years in the Hickstead Derby.

Her sire, Cruising, has extensive successful progeny including eventers Mr Cruise Control, Mr Medicott and and showjumpers Flexible, World Cruise and Larkhill Cruiser.

‘Mo Chroí’ won her final competition before her retirement at the RDS in August 2014.

The mare won the speed championships at the Dublin Horse Show, ridden by Captain Michael Kelly.

Mo Chroi (ISH) – 1997 grey mare by Cruising (ISH) out of Into The Blue (ISH), by Mister Lord (TB). Bred by Claire McDonnell, Co. Wicklow.

mo chroi has worked hard for 13 years and produced 2 embryo transfer foals. Faux photos of her were put on line in the Farmer’s Journal and the Horse and Hound last spring. I believe she is ok in retirement in Ballymoney. that place may be sold because Angus Mc Donnell has a lot of debts after the forced closure collapse of Bloxham Brokers
