SAUT HERMÈS AU GRAND PALAIS – 10, 11 & 12 APRIL 2015

Equestrian art and elegance. Sporting performance and excellence. This sixth edition of the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais, an international 5-star (CSI 5*) show jumping competition, takes place on 10, 11 and 12 April 2015 in Paris.

This year,the competition will be broadcast live on the website: live.sauthermes.com

Some of the best riders in the world are set to compete in the 5* event. Penelope Lepervost, Kevin Staut, Bertram Allen, Scott Brash, Ludger Beerbaum and Daniel Deusser, Roger Yves Bost and Simon Delestre to mention some. Ireland will have Billy Twomey, Denis Lynch and Bertram Allen fly the flag in this division.

Ireland will be represented by Galway’s Michael Duffy and  Eoin McMahon in the CSI under 25 section.

The main show pieces of the show are:

LE SAUT HERMÈS CSI 5* – CLASS 6

This class is contested by the 10 best male riders and the 10 best female riders after the qualifier on the first day (Class 3), this class features mixed pairs of riders, with the parings decided by drawing lots, and has two rounds, both against the clock with no jump-off.

Final placing: by pair, reflecting cumulative points from both rounds and the time of the second round. Each rider may enter only one horse.

GRAND PRIX HERMÈS CSI 5* – CLASS 9

The Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais. The height of the jumps and the technicality of the course make this one of the most demanding classes on the international circuit.
